English sterling silver golf trophy. Engraved "St. Ives Golf Club Keighley News Trophy D.S. Atkinson 1945" on front. Maker's mark and impressed English hallmarks on side. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1947. Often the silver trophies were purchased later and retroactively dated with winning dates as gifts (this one is made in 1947, but commemorating wins in 1945)
